He earned his PhD in Science, specializing in Software Engineering, from ICMC/USP. He also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the Federal University of Technology – Paraná (UTFPR). His undergraduate degree is in Systems Analysis and Development, also from UTFPR, where he received awards for academic excellence, including Best Student from the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), as well as Best Student in his class and in his academic year from UTFPR. He is associated with the Graduate Program in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics (PPG-CCMC) at ICMC/USP and is a member of the Digital Sustainability Center (DiSC) at VU Amsterdam, the Software Engineering Laboratory (LabES), and the Software Architecture Research Group at ICMC/USP. He contributes actively to the Software Engineering community as a reviewer and Program Committee member for national and international conferences (ICSE, EASE, ESEM, FSE, and SBES), and for scientific journals (e.g., JSS, IST, TOSEM, CSI, IPM).
