Below, you will find information on the registration process and fees for ICSE 2026, as well as its satellite activities (workshops, symposia, co-located conferences, etc.). Please read the registration information carefully before starting the online registration process.

All accepted papers and posters require at least one registration by one of the co-authors for the main conference, co-located event, or workshop in which they appear, as appropriate, even if the presentation will be given remotely. This registration must cover all days of the corresponding event and may be of any category (professional, student, lifetime, etc.).

Online registration will close at the end of the day on Tuesday, April 14th; after that, registration will be available only in person.

Before registering: To speed the process, we suggest you have ready:

Your IEEE or ACM membership number, if you are a member.
The list of co-located conferences, workshops, symposia, tutorials, and other events you wish to register for (see the program, search and filter it, then take note of the dates)
The list of papers you are registering as the paying author.

Please note that registration for individual days is available; however, it does not include access to the NAC reception on Wednesday or the banquet. Additionally, extra banquet tickets will be available in limited quantities, and the request deadline will be announced later.

What does my registration include?

Main Conference Days:

Access to all main conference sessions on Wednesday, 15 – Friday, 17 April
A ticket to the Welcome Reception on Tuesday, 14 April.
A ticket to the Conference Banquet, either on Wednesday, 15 April or Thursday, 16 April. You will need to choose on registration based on date availability (first-come, first-served)
Coffee and lunch on Wednesday, 15 – Friday, 17 April
A registration covers up to two co-authored ICSE main conference track papers (any main conference track); papers in co-located conference(s) and/or workshop(s) need a separate registration by at least one co-author for each of those co-located conference(s) and/or workshop(s)

Two-day Co-Located Events (conference or workshop):

Access to any co-located conference or workshop sessions held on the same day(s) (either Sunday, 12 April + Monday, 13 April, or Monday, 13 April + Tuesday, 14 April)
Coffee and lunch on the day/s of the co-located event or workshop
Do NOT include the banquet or reception of the main conference.
A registration covers up to two co-located conference or workshop co-authored papers (for each specific co-located conference/workshop being registered for); however, papers in different workshops or co-located conferences, even if held on the same day(s), need a registration by at least one co-author for each workshop or co-located conference with a paper.

Single-day (any day of the conference):

Access to any session of the selected day of the conference (Sunday, 12 April to Friday, 18 April)
Coffee and lunch on the day/s of the co-located event or workshop
Do NOT include the banquet, receptions, or any social events associated with co-located conferences or the main conference.

Additional Clarification

No-Charge Events:

New Faculty Symposium: Free for participants registered for any two days of ICSE.
Doctoral Symposium: Free if you have a paper in this session and are registered for the main conference (Wed–Fri). Otherwise, a single-day registration is required.
Student Mentoring Workshop: Free for participants without a grant. Grant recipients must hold a single-day registration to attend.
Discount Codes: Certain participants (e.g., student volunteers, keynote speakers) will receive codes granting free access to specific activities.
Newcomer Reception: Open to anyone attending ICSE for the first time.

Overlapping events:

If you wish to attend sessions from overlapping events (e.g., to watch a paper presentation), you only need to register for the event you plan to attend primarily—to avoid duplicate fees.
If you wish to participate in partially overlapping events (e.g., one held Sunday–Monday and another Monday–Tuesday), you may register for both days of one event and only one day of the other.
However, if you have accepted papers in two overlapping events, each event requires registration by at least one co-author.

All fees are quoted in American Dollars (USD) and include all taxes, except for the APC charges, which are handled directly by ACM.
