Visa Information for Traveling to Brazil
Passport holders from Mercosul, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and China do not require a visa to enter Brazil. (This applies to short‑term stays for tourism or business, up to 90 days.)
⚠️ Attention: Passport holders from Australia, Canada, and the United States need a visa starting April 10, 2025.

Getting a Visa Support Letter
Important: Make sure to request visa support as early as possible.
The ACM does not issue formal invitation letters for visa purposes to attend ICSE and its associated events. However, they can provide a visa support letter.
To request a visa support letter, please email the Office of SIG Services at supportletters@acm.org with the following information:
- Your full name (as it appears on your passport)
- Your mailing address
- The name of the conference: ICSE
- Your registration confirmation number
- If applicable, include your paper title (for authors) or the title of your talk (for speakers)
- A fax number or email address where the letter should be sent

Important Notes
- ICSE 2026 is not responsible for the costs associated with the visa application and registration process.
- Yellow fever vaccination:
No proof of vaccination or prophylaxis is required to enter Brazil. However, the Ministry of Health recommends that international travelers update their vaccination status before arriving, according to the guidelines of their country’s vaccination calendar.
