At Amazon, Minav has built a distinguished career across multiple domains—Alexa, Fire TV, and Amazon Payment Services—progressing from Software Development Engineer to Engineering Manager. As an Engineering Manager in Amazon Payment Services, he leads two Tier-1 payments platforms: the Charge Platform and the History of Payments Platform, which together process more than $1 trillion in annual transactions and support over 260 Amazon businesses. He has driven major modernization efforts, evolving legacy payment systems to simplified AWS-based architectures, championing regionalization of payments processing, and executing multi-terabyte data migrations. Previously, as a Senior Software Development Engineer, Minav led the architecture and delivery of Amazon’s high-scale Disbursements Platform, enabling over 1 billion disbursements annually and integrating with major global banks such as JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, HSBC, and Citi. His earlier work on Alexa Video Experiences helped power voice-driven media interactions on Fire TV and pioneered the first voice-based video purchasing flow, shaping a flagship customer experience.
With a strong foundation in both engineering and leadership, Minav has built and scaled teams that deliver mission-critical financial infrastructure serving millions of customers worldwide. He is passionate about translating complex business needs into sustainable, scalable systems that balance innovation with operational excellence.
